 BELOVED CHINA PAINTER DORIS HARRIS PASSED AWAY2014-2016 NOTE FROM LOIS HIGGINS: It is with great sadness I inform you of the passing of Doris Harris of Tulsa, OK. Doris was a significant part of all of our china painting lives as a teacher, mentor, friend and confidant. Doris Harris was a Charter Member of Oil Capital China Painters of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a member of Tulsa China Painters. Cards may be sent to the home of her daughter, Barbara Williams, at the following address: Barbara Williams and family 5828 East 63rd Tulsa OK 74137 There shall be no service and the grave site service is private for family members only. The family request no flowers, no food, but ask if you wish, please to make a donation "In memory of Doris Harris" to the following Associations: Word Organization of China Painters, Inc. 2700 North Portland Oklahoma City, OK 73107-5400 American Diabetes Association of Tulsa, Oklahoma 6600 South Yale Avenue Tulsa, OK 74136 Doris is now the angel watching over us as we continue to china paint remembering all she taught to so many of us. Doris will be greatly missed. |

Ladies, Don't forget that we are having an OKWOCPINC board meeting on January 16, 2016. Lunch is $7. Tickets to win a free seminar are $6 each or 3 for $15. Be sure to register for the April 8-10, 2016 painting retreat as soon as possible. The cost includes 3 day of lunch and the firing of your piece the first two nights.
